Nunny's Funky Boots Charity Auction

funky-bootsA fantastic charity auction with the money raised going to Boots For Africa & the Sheffield Steelers Wheelchair Basketball team.  Read on for more details...

Would you like to get your hands on a unique piece of sporting memorabilia?  Or bag a sporting bargain? Now you can, and help raise money for good causes too, thanks to the Nunny’s Funky Boots charity auction 2011.

Every year Nunny’s Funky Boots, a social women’s football club, holds a summer tournament for members to raise money for charity.  This year we’re fundraising for two charities, the Sheffield Steelers Wheelchair Basketball team and Boots For Africa, and have set ourselves a substantial target of £1,000.

To help us towards this we are holding an online auction of sporting items, made possible thanks to the generosity of local sports clubs, individuals and businesses who have donated items.  On offer includes some unique items of memorabilia, including personally signed photos of Olympic heroes Sir Steve Redgrave and Sir Chris Hoy, a ball signed by England legend Gordon Banks, a team cap signed by Formula 1 drivers Timo Glock and Jerome D’Ambrosio and a waistcoat signed by snooker star Jimmy White.  There’s also some bargains to be had, with a Sheffield FC season ticket and new home shirt up for grabs.

Why not treat someone to an extra special birthday or Christmas present, treat yourself to a special sporting souvenir or just take advantage of a bargain!  Every single penny we raise from the auction will go towards our two chosen charities.

Inner Frame has much to thank Sheffield FC for, it was they who allowed us to become supporters of their Boots For Africa Appeal and get into the whole spirit of helping in the community sector which we feel we have now embraced totally.

“…the pleasure has been mine in working closely with you. Along this journey we have learnt a lot and hopefully we shall produce stars that would one day play Sheffield and other clubs in the UK. “
