BETTERFOOTBALL.NET JOINS BOOTS FOR AFRICA
11 August 2010
Sheffield FC international charity Boots For Africa have linked with soccer coaching website Betterfootball.net to generate further interest in Boots For Africa. Betterfootball.net is an internet based company which advises on better soccer tips and gives expert coaching advice on the beautiful game.
Better Football Ltd Director Pavl Williams is travelling to Ghana for a month in August to establish a youth football programme and educate young soccer coaches on best practices. He will be working with Keta Sandlanders FC, a Division 2 football team from Ghana with unique ambitions to develop their club and the community. Sandlanders is one of the first Co-Operative football clubs in Africa and are dedicated to supporting sustainable community and development programmes in Keta, Ghana.
Pavl contacted Boots For Africa with the view of collecting boots in preparation for his journey to Ghana. “Hopefully, we will generate enough interest and collect plenty of boots for players in Ghana, and many more to donate to Boots For Africa for other good causes throughout Africa”
Jenny Tims, Boots For Africa Project Manager added; “The Better Football support will help raise the profile of Boots For Africa and hopefully encourage people to collect boots on our behalf. To know some of the boots will be going to help a project in Ghana, that makes a real difference to the community, is fantastic”
