DESIGN AGENCY DESIGN BRIDGE UK RAISE FUNDS FOR BOOTS FOR AFRICA

Boots For Africa today received a cheque of £300 from London based branding company Design Bridge. Design Bridge have worked for Sheffield FC in the past, creating their new brand identity and logo’s in 2006 in the build up towards the 150^th celebrations of the Club.

BOOTS FOR AFRICA HELPS GRASSROOTS FOOTBALL IN CAMEROON

Boots For Africa was contacted recently by a volunteer working in Cameroon, West Africa. UK based Dorothy Londondee was planning a trip to Cameroon to work with an organization called ASED (Assoc sportif de l 'estuaire de Douala) to assist them with their fundraising strategy.

This month Boots For Africa made further inroads into Uganda, providing boots and footballs to a community project running close to the capital city Kampala.

Peak-2010-Boots-for-Africa At the end of July the Derbyshire Scout and Guide International Camp - PEAK 2010, which is held every five years, took place in Chatsworth Park. The whole event ethos was ‘One World Our World’, and there were many activities organised around the theme of ‘peace’, ‘issues’ and ‘looking after the environment,’ which involved representatives from Oxfam, Sightsavers, Save the Children and CAFOD (Catholic Overseas Development Agency).

Local Ford commercial vehicles centre Dagenham Motors on River Road, Barking has helped the charity Boots For Africa with the loan of a new Ford Transit van.
